Just check in to the flight EXACTLY 24 hours prior to the flight and you'll get in the A boarding group and then the problem is solved. I always get an A group using this method. |

They are no longer just a shuttle between Dallas and Houston. People in NY laugh at their system. It's one reason why people are abandoning Islip Airport. When you travel as a family you want to know in advance who the fuck you're sitting with. |

Those business class seats on SWA cost so much more. Just let a family of 5 from Suffolk Long Island buy their seats two months in advance and know they're sitting together instead of the current "group" system which is not necessary in the age of internet. |

They allow families with little kids to pre-board regardless of boarding group. They're not perfect but they are my favorite domestic carrier. They treat customers like human beings, don't fly regional jets, and don't charge extra for checked baggage. Also I've never had an issue getting a seat I want. |

I'm a roadgeek, but I-5 and CA 99 are typical Caltrans snooze fests outside of the mountain passes if you're used to New York's interstate regime. Planes just suck for daytrips given the lack of flexibility* in changing tickets and security**, and it's much too far to drive that distance and return home on the same day. *I've called Amtrak on a few occasions to change my reservations to a later train due to running late from having fun. **And in my case, due to my ears hurting like hell from the change in air pressure... |

HighNot any more expensive than airports or highways to provide an equivalent capacity. And the train would stop in Bakersfield, Tulare, Visalia, Fresno, Modest, Stockton before Sacramento. While no Phase II or III service plans have been posted, it would stand to reason that there will be a mix of local and express service between the two northern terminals and Los Angeles. |

SWA not flying regional jets is what might be causing the wear and tear on their planes. Too many cycles of pressurizing may not be good and that is what might be causing their problems. |
