I remember doing a google search and finding Planned Parenthood in Hempstead but not Massapequa Park.I do think that government wants to make abortion more available to minorities. Talk about stirring the pot!A few years ago I worked with a conservative white woman that was complaining to me about how California had too many people on welfare and she thought that the government should offer minorities a one-time cash bonus for voluntary sterilization. I mentioned this to a super liberal coworker and he also thought that it was a good idea. I'm guessing that type of thinking is pretty common although most people would be careful about who they said it to. |

More implies more, not a higher percentage. That's why I even said that if he meant percentage that would be different.Anyway I looked it up before I answered your post. I didn't include the statistic because...well...I just didn't. Anyway the actual numbers show that blacks are only twice as likely. It was broken down by age and for example about 10% of black females have a kid out of wedlock between age 18 and 19 while about 5% of white women will. So the number is about double at least at that age. |

I think we should discourage low-IQ, criminal, and other less capable people from breeding and encourage smarter, more upstanding people to breed more, regardless of race. Nothing should be forced on anyone. Voluntary incentives should be provided that affects people's behavior. Perhaps it would not be a bad idea to offer a respectable amount of money to a high-school drop out, regardless of his/her race, to get fixed. The cost effectiveness of this in the long run is obvious. |
