I've been hearing "tribal" used more often lately to describe the racial and ethnic polarization in the US. Maybe people are offended by the word but it does convey the users meaning and I don't think that the meaning is necessarily offensive. It's just a description of how people with stuff in common tend to stick together. That can be race, politics, religion, income, etc.When you say that blacks would be offended you probably mean by the potential interpretation of "tribal" to mean a primitive group of people. Obviously that's not what was meant here. He should have used a different word to describe people that are sticking together. Would "clan" work for you? ;) |

Here's my point - all Palin supporters are white supremacists. All white supremacists are gun toting and narrow minded Christians. Thus and such, it stands to reason all Palin supporters are gun toting and narrow minded Christians. That much is indisputable.Now, I am not a Palin guy. I cringe whenever she speaks out of embarrassment for her depth of knowledge not to mention her use of language. At the same time, I cringe whenever Matthews opens his mouth as it seems his words spew out in a torrent before his mind has an opportunity to catch up. I used to like him, even read one of his books, but his thoughts border on the absurd just like my opening. I Palin has nice hair and so does Matthews but Palin's hair is better I think. Have a good weekend and thanks for reading this poor excuse for a post... it means alot to me. B7 Delta jets. |
