"At that point, cops asked her to take a preliminary alcohol screening test in the field, but she refused."In some states you automatically lose your license for this. Driving is a task that takes a lot of concentration, considering the numbers of nutball drivers one encounters every day.One of my pet peeves is drivers who won't use their turn signals. My biggest pet peeve is drivers who can drive for miles and miles on the highway with their signal on. I get away from clowns like that fast. That behavior tells me all I need to know about the idiot behind the wheel being a terrible driver that pays absolutely no attention to what's going on around him and rarely, if ever, looks at his dashboard. |

I feel the same way about that too although I have to admit I am sometimes guilty of that in one of my vehicles. (I drive 5 vehicles, 2 cars, 2 motorcycles, and a mail truck) My 2004 Camry does not make any sound at all when the blinkers are on. My 2005 Corolla and the mail truck make the usual clicking sound. So sometimes I do forget to shut it in the Camry.Cars should have self cancelling directional lights like motorcycles have. On bikes, since you don't steer, they automatically go off after a certain distance, the distance is longer the higher speed you're going.
