Hahaha, it's these crazy Long Island Indian names...I used to have a friend that worked in Ronkonkoma at an office. She used to be the secretary, and would screen a lot of the junk mail. The name of the company was "Ronkonkoma Something" (I forgot what the second word was. She had to laugh once when a letter came, where the name on the letter said: Mr Ron Konkoma 555 Whatever St Ronkonkoma NY Dear Ron, HAHAHA. Anyway, as for Copiague, it's pretty rough on the north part of the town, just like Amityville. South though, both towns are very nice though, South Amityville and Copiague Harbor. |

My friend found the Shamrock Shake on Northern Blvd in Bayside. The owner told us that she's selling it at her three locations. 2 Queens, and one Nassau County location according to the owner.The famous New Hyde Park location HAD it and confirmed that it was removed from the menu immediately. They did not run out. McDonald's Sunrise Hwy in Massapequa Park(across the parking lot from Olive Garden where I ate last night) does not have it. In Philadelphia, it's everywhere, and McDonald's is doing a promotion where they donate $.25 for every Shamrock Shake purchase. I heard the ad on WMMR. |

I've seen posters advertising the shakes at McDonalds here for the first time in several years. I also had one the other day and it was much mintier and better tasting than the one that I had last year. I think that they did something to improve the taste which may explain in part why it's being featured more prominently. |
