Should Andy Martin be disbarred?

This deserves its own topic, especially in the wake of another crusading Republican attorney getting disbarred (that order is being appealed).

In this article, it is noted "... that an examination of legal documents and election filings, along with interviews with Martin's acquaintances, revealed that he is "a man with a history of scintillating if not always factual claims." He has left a trail of animosity — some of it provoked by anti-Jewish comments — among political leaders, lawyers and judges in three states over more than 30 years...", according to the NY Times.

It should also be noted a similar history got Jack Thompson on the cusp of being disbarred (the order disbarring him was issued last month, but it is being stayed pending an appeal). Is there a good reason why Andy Martin's law license should not be put on the line here?

BTW, the battle is in Circuit Court, not the state Supreme Court.

If he can be shown to have knowingly presented false evidence in court, or to have withheld evidence, then yes. If he's just a Jew-hating and black-hating blowhard who hasn't violated court rules, then no.

I think the bigger question for New Yorkers is: how is it that Linda Rosero faces no action for deliberately sending a guy to jail for 12 years on evidence she knew was false, and the Queens DA just shrugs and says it's not a frequent situation.

Andy Martin is not an attorney. He's not a Republican. He sued Bush for 9/11.

Well, if he's not an attorney, that answers the question. And just because I called him a black-hating and Jew-hating blowhard, I certainly never claimed that made him a Republican.

This is an article about the situation. There's another lawsuit in Washington state, and Philadelphia suing the DNC, asking them to prove to the American public that Obama is constitutionally eligible to be President. DNC filed motion saying it's not the courts jurisdiction. Obama is smart for fighting this every step of the way, because it's clear, he has something to hide.

Well, if he's not born in Hawaii, his grandparents deserve an award for most prescient grandparents in history, for having the foresight to get him a faked Hawaii birth certificate and putting in the newspaper notice, just in case he might someday run for president.

Then release the vault forms, stfu all the detractors.

Besides, the argument is that he was born in Kenya, and his mother registered the birth days later. Just release the long form birth certificate, and people will be convinced.

Besides. That newspaper announcement is odd. It's 9 days after his birth, and list Mr & Mrs. Obama, even though Obama has said he was from a single parent household.

So now you're also doubting that Ann Dunham and Barack Obama ever got married? Again, irrelevant, even if true.

And what's the big deal about the 9 days? If they wanted to get it into a Sunday paper, they would easily have missed the deadline for the one that was published two days after his birth. If your point is that the mother did it rather than the grandparents, then you're even more out of luck, because the mother can't confess her misdeeds any more, and the grandmother would only have hearsay evidence that the mother bribed a clerk.

Besides, who do you think would have bribed the clerk? Sounds more like something the grandfather would do, not a 19 year old girl. So you're still left with an incredibly prescient parent or grandparent who thought, let's be safe in case he runs for President some day.

I'm not doubting it. I remember Michelle Obama saying at DNC that Obama was raised by a single mom.

Some hospitals just send annoucements to the local newspapers. I know they do that in Hazleton, Pa in the Standard Speaker.

Obama should be more honest, and not fight release of the vault forms being released. I think Berg, Martin, and the third lawsuit are all onto something here.

Or not. Andy Martin is going to lose because the law is extremely clear: he doesn't have the right under Hawai'i law to ask for it. Then what is his next step...to bitch and moan about how Hawai'i did him wrong?

Also, about your claim that McCain can win NJ: Are you telling me that a poll can be off by 24 percent? The most recent Quinnipiac poll showed Obama up by 23.

Martin asked for the info by tomorrow, so we'll see what the court says. Looks like they'll tell him to go f himself.

But it's clear Obama is hiding something, based on his behavior.

I think Obama knows in his heart that Martin may be onto something.

Watch...Andy Martin will be blindsided when Obama finally releases his birth certificate moments before the news conference...and the birth certificate turns out to be what Andy Martin wanted.

Martin only finds out after he has already begun his press conference. Who looks like the fool? This sounds as though Andy Martin took the bait...and is about to be fished out.

There's a reason why Obama is stalling...Andy Martin just doesn't know it yet.

Probably.

What's wrong with Fox News? Look at their primetime lineup.

O'Reilly Irish/Catholic
Hannity Irish/Catholic
Greta Scientologist
Colmes Liberal/Jewish

That's kind of balanced.

This would be after the lawsuit is thrown out...and after Andy Martin has left, not related to the court action at all...simply a calculated move to get back at Andy Martin after he is back on the mainland.

LOL. I don't think Obama wants anyone to know about the lawsuit. Obama's trip to Hawaii is clearly connected to the lawsuit. If it's thrown out, he'll just visit granny. If it isn't, you can bet he'll go to court on Friday, or hire an attorney. Andy Martin should stay, and follow Obama.
