What if Barack Loses in November?

Remember when I said the libs would bombard us with articles on America being racist in response to Obama's slipping lead(ok, ABC poll has him ahead by six points), and the fact that most think he should have a ten point lead(well, many think he's entitled to the Presidency too)? This is one article that is addressing the issue.

And Austin Hill has an article somewhere on the possibility of riots. I have to find that. I don't know yet about the riots, but there could be problems. I fully expect law enforcement to be on alert on Election Day. And if McCain is announced winner, I think there will be a strong police presence in black communities. Does anyone here not think the police won't be on alert if Obama loses?

Heh. Follow the "down-ticket" and see where even if he loses, McCain will be a "one-term wonder" ... even the wimmens who are displeased with how Obama (and PARTICULARLY his "minions") handled Hillary and they're working VERY hard to ensure that PELOSI calls the shots whatever comes down. McCain won't be able to find his way out of the White House, much less get anything done, and THAT is the bottom line up front in November.

Jacob Weisberg's article is just great. The kind I predicted here a few weeks ago. I wish it would get more publcity though. More people need to read it.

As far as riots, I'm still not sure. But as we get closer to the election, the issue of police presence, public disturbances, etc......will be an issue discussed in a serious tone, not just in my regular rants here.

Actually, this should be retitled, "Will there be riots in November"? I say that because if Obama wins, there could very well be celebratory riots in the streets, like when an NBA MLB team or something like that, wins a championship.

Oh C'mon ... there ain't gonna BE riots. Where the hell are you getting your info from? Whoever it is, LOSE them! If Obama loses, there will be charges of "told you so, those racist bastards" but given the realities of "in these times" there ain't gonna be riots ... the really BIG question now amongst brothers and sisters becomes "what happens to affirmative action now that Obama got a post position?" :(

But if Obama *does* lose, it's only his own failure to DEFINE himself with absolute "here I am" stands for the voters. Yeah, racism might account for 10% of the total vote, and he SHOULD be WAY ahead of that "sacrifice of assholes." Fact that he's NOT is his OWN doing ... time for Obama to grow some BALLS, TAKE a stand, and tell us WHAT he's going to do ... if he does so, all the racists in the nation won't stop him.

Dewd *HAS* to grow some balls.

Police? What ... is this your WISH? Obviously you don't understand minorities very well ... Huey Newton and Bobby Seale LOST the war, and they KNEW it. You seem to think black people are stupid. :(

No offense.

Like Hillary, it was HERS to lose ... and she and Bill got MIGHTY stupid and completely wiped out a 30% advantage by not FIRING the asses of her advisors and telling the "diesel dykes" to shove it. Now, it's up to Obama to preserve HIS 8% advantage and tell HIS supporters to learn to respect wimmens, and NOT tell the 50 and 60 year old wimmens to "GET OVER IT." :(

*IF* Obama gets a brain trust, gets slapped with baby powder, and TELLS America what he intends to *DO* ... McCain can go drink his wife's beers, eh? And take Lieberman and that cult bastard on a "sea cruise." :)

Did you read Weisburg's article? The mentality among many is that racism is the only thing that can derail Obama. It's on many people's minds. Same with the riots(win or lose).

Answer this: Do you think that police in certain cities will be on alert on Election Day, ready for possible disturbances? I do.

Some of that is true. When Obama loses, people will blame his race, despite that being his strongest selling point. They will also cry voter fraud EVERYWHERE. Democrats will blame Hillary, making her future presidential run problematic.

No, you're confusing me with someone who CARES ... my mind's already sold. :)

I expect all sorts of drama that won't matter on election day, PARTICULARLY out of the "instant news" people and the bullshitters. I don't intend to put a radio or TV on then either until the last state has voted. MIGHT check it out then, but probably STILL won't care. Lemme put it to you THIS way ... when I joined local 100, I was assigned to the IND. IND at the time was mostly rejects from Stillwell ... known as the "N-word" straight out. That I *PICKED* the IND, that made ME one too! :(

And with all the SHIT that went down at Stillwell with the folks from south Broooklyn to begin with (and Howard Beach - amazing how many motorpeople there were at Stillwell who were from THAT part of town, Bensonhurst and Brighton) I hung with those who also worked the D and th e F and after CHRYSTIE and the "symbolic invasion" I ended up SIDING with those who TAUGHT me, who CARED, and BACKED me up. I hung out at Betsy Head Pool in Bed-stuy and I felt at HOME there with my buddies. And I caught a LOT of shit for who my "friends" were.

YEAH, racism is EVER so much for real - we see it every day right HERE. :(

Cops can go do their "hut-hut-hut" thing ... and rip off your tax dollars for such BULLSHIT ... fact IS, "minorities" know when to play, and when NOT to ... else, we'd see some MEXICANS get their proper GOP beatings and killed instead. :(

You are REALLY being fed some SERIOUS bullshit ... but it's fair and balanced I guess ... all I can offer is put up STORM shutters, BUY an Uzi, make sure to store plenty of grains and water even if you have to forgo a shower to fill your bathtub, and UNPLUG your computer and TV because them damned knee-grows are COMING for you! Heh.

Geez. :(

It's a liberal enclave, just like NYC ... alas, Denver is a place that "terrorists" chuckle over- about as likely to get "hit" as Albany. Once again, you have over-reaction when cops are let loose to imagine their worst nightmares and ACT on them. If we DO get attacked again, it'll be just as BIG an "out of nowhere" surprise as 9/11. Arresting whiners is an exercise in masturbation for REAL copes, every bit as much as when I was penned up in Wrigley Field for the crime of "being a reporter with a recording device" in 1968 in Chicago. $10 bail, went home, was done. :)

KNOW the difference between "posturing and doublespeak" and reality ... though with Ghouliani in NYC when the GOP came hosing the city, it became ALL too real for a bunch of kibbitzers who had no CLUE as to how to wire up a bomb. It's POLITICS, "street drama" and worthless as to "news" ... except for those channels you're pissing away your SUMMER paying attention to instead of getting some AIR around your ass. Heh.

Obama will not be defeated because of racism, it will be because he doesn't say anything when he speaks. Of course, yes, there are many that believe that the only reason people don't like Obama is because of his race, but that really is hogwash. Listen to the man, all he does is repeat everything that's wrong in the country, to thunderous applauce, and scream "change", and I am different, and crap like that, but people are beginning to see that he doesn't say what he is going to do....he only says what's wrong.

"The American people are frustrated".... (thunderous applause)
"The American Worker wants more for their dollar" (thunderous applause).
"People are tired of the current administration" (applause)
"People want out of Iraq" (applause)
"We need alternate sources of energy" (applause)
"etc, etc." (applause)

He sounds great with all that, but he said absolutely nothing.

Simple...Obama helps make life very hard for McCain. The Democrats will still hold onto the Senate very strongly, and McCain will have to nominate people the Democrats will approve.

As for police presence needed; as they say in Russia: Nyet! If there were no riots after the acquittal of the detectives in the Sean Bell case...what makes you think this will be needed?

NYC is not the only city in the country. How NY'ers react, may not be the same as LA, Chicago, New Orleans, or Atlanta.

Besides, the dems have elevated the expectations of people so much, that if Obama does not win, his supporters will think it was stolen from him.

I have no intention of reading those articles. I'm usually not interested in anyone's opinion in political matters. I can draw my own conclusions from what's presented to me here on OTChat. ;-)

People's emotions sometimes get the better of them. If it results in property damage of physical injury, they should be dealt with appropriately by the police. Lock 'em up.

As far as having a discussion of this issue, fine. But I think this is a tempest in a teapot. Cities will not burn if a candidate loses.

I agree, but people are willing to go with him instead of with McCain...especially those who don't want to continue getting ass dicked. I have a feeling even some racist people who usually vote might either not vote at all, or maybe even go with the brown guy...because they are tired of the slapdick.

Heck it might be BETTER to get a president that won't do ANYTHNG instead of going for McCain...McCain pretty much said he will put this country as far into the CHIT-HOLE as it can go before it runs out of gas.

The real people Obama has to worry about are the racists, and extreme capitalists WITHIN the white house...He might even have to worry about HIS OWN people... If he starts barking up the wrong tree, he might get killed for it...

Maybe one reason Obama hasn't said anything definite is because this country has been put so far into the chithole, that he doesn't know where to start...Let's say Obama DOES win...he will see how he gives some people hope of some sort, and then this will activate a self-fulfilling prophecy, and he will do real good stuff.

Bottom line is that I'd rather give Obama a shot, rather than give some old guy, whose actions WE CAN PREDICT...

Heck, I think we need Al Gore...I kind of wish Gore was the vice president... I wish gore was the president...But you know why he lost? Because of the sensationalist religious bastards...yes, Jews, and Christians and all extremists alike...over abortion... People who voted for Bush due to the fact that he was "pro-life" were very childish...and don't look at history to know what happens in certain situations...Bush doesn't seem so pro-life now, does he?

GORE 2008!!!!

I also think the Bush administration had a part in blowing up the WTC.... There were explosions in the buildings....Not from airplanes...Note how all the terrorists were from oil countries as well...very convenient, and somehow that gave us a right to go into those countries...what a shame... Hugo Chavez was kind of right...Bush is kind of like the devil.

["I hung out at Betsy Head Pool in Bed-stuy and I felt at HOME there with my buddies."]

While this has nothing to do with the topic, Betsy Head Pool is in Brownsville, not Bed Stuy. Had to sit inside the gates in a radio car for many a midnight tour on a fixed post to keep kids from sneaking in and drowning!!

Who needs riots, I'd rather see people storm the white house, if it was NECESSARY...

But it probably won't happen...But you seem a bit paranoid... Why would there be a police presence in black neighborhoods? THEY DON'T GIVE A CHIT about those neighborhoods...If those people are dumb enough to screw up their neighborhoods more than they already are, then the police will let them do it, as long as they don't mess up the "nicer" areas...

["Maybe one reason Obama hasn't said anything definite is because this country has been put so far into the chithole, that he doesn't know where to start..."]

Only 5% unemployment, almost everyone with cars, TV's, air conditioning, etc. Freedom of speech, press, religion, etc; some "chithole".

["Heck, I think we need Al Gore..."]

Al Gore is a snake oil salesman, trying to sell us on the ridiculous global warming so he can make millions.

Did you ever consider psychiatric help?

Ok...And unemployment incresed since Bush...and you display a rather simple mindset...everyone with cars and TV is not necessarily something good..though it is good for the oil cronnies...

And haven't you been reading the crap photographers go through??
Businesses shutting down...
And how they are trying to convert America into a police state???

You should take your head out of the sand and have a GOOD look around...Do you know what is goingon in the middle east, because of the BUSH administration?

Unfortunately, many people share your mindset, and eat the crap the manipulated media feeds you...
