Posted by TRAIN DUDE on Sun Oct 4 14:48:19 2026 My wife and I have always had cats and dogs, except for 1, all were rescues & foundlings. We had 3 cats when Rudy came to us. He escaped when the town raided a hoarder house with dozens of cats. Rudy's been with us for 8 years while the others passed on. Back in March, a female cat had 5 kittens in my yard. She taught then to come to the back door for food. After teaching them their survival skills, she took off and left us with Spanky, Buckwheat, Stymie, Peanut and Sydnie. They now live in my screened porch and eat at the table. Rudy ain't pleased. Last week mama showed up and bummed a few meals. Yesterday, when my tennant uncovered his motorcycle, he found 4 new born kittens. Mama must have grabbed 2 but she left 2. So now we have Nebbish and Noodles in a makeshift nursary. We're now bottle feeding them every 3-4 hours.

That cat could not care less and is looking into the camera lens like STFU. The poor songbird is already dead anyone can see that. Now the cat can go find its nest and murder the baby songbirds by first knocking them out of the nest. Since those songbirds are too young and cannot fly away they will fall to the ground and then the cat will climb back down the tree and pounce on them. The thing about it is the cat will probably not eat the songbirds because it just likes slaughtering them for no apparent reason. If I ever see a cat and can catch it I will kill it.

I read his post this weekend about the kittens he is nursing and feeding and raising and obviously cares about. With that, my truth is that The Honorable Salaam Allah and I are quote birds of a feather close quote when it comes to cats. At least you know where I stand.
