Posted by TRAIN DUDE on Sun Oct 4 14:48:19 2026 My wife and I have always had cats and dogs, except for 1, all were rescues & foundlings. We had 3 cats when Rudy came to us. He escaped when the town raided a hoarder house with dozens of cats. Rudy's been with us for 8 years while the others passed on.Back in March, a female cat had 5 kittens in my yard. She taught then to come to the back door for food. After teaching them their survival skills, she took off and left us with Spanky, Buckwheat, Stymie, Peanut and Sydnie. They now live in my screened porch and eat at the table. Rudy ain't pleased. Last week mama showed up and bummed a few meals. Yesterday, when my tennant uncovered his motorcycle, he found 4 new born kittens. Mama must have grabbed 2 but she left 2. So now we have Nebbish and Noodles in a makeshift nursary. We're now bottle feeding them every 3-4 hours. |
