Posted by cortelyounext on Tue Aug 4 15:21:10 2026 Did you hear about all those airplanes going into KDEN yesterday that ended up diverting to KCOS because of turbulence? A lot of United equipment. I hate turbulence because it scares me.Did you see the footage of the airplane that landed on I-10 in Pensacola yesterday? It barely cleared the gantry and reminded me of the bakery truck from Maryland that got smashed after the United wide-body hit a light pole on the rustic New Jersey Turnpike in Newark while quote attempting close quote to land on 29. This time the airplane hit nothing but the pavement but still... Here |

Sounds like an off-brand cola from Pennsylvania.I visited there over twenty years ago, on January 1 of all days. First time I experienced summer-like weather on that date. |

So that's what this headline is about.Southwest Announces Nonstop Flights From Denver Airport To Downtown Denver DENVER, CO — Southwest Airlines announced this week that it was now offering nonstop flights from the Denver airport to downtown Denver. "It's a long distance, but traveling by plane makes it easier," Southwest spokesman Matt Bowen said. "The trek from downtown Denver out to the airport takes people way too long by car. We're offering daily routes now so travelers can get to and from the two locations in less than the usual 18 hours it takes to drive." For years, travelers in the Denver area have struggled to travel from the city center out to the airport, which some estimate is 460 miles away from downtown. City officials hoped these flights would help residents access the airport in under five hours. https://babylonbee.com/news/southwest-announces-nonstop-flights-from-denver-airport-to-downtown-denver |

I am curious whether the flight attendants assigned this routing will be required to provide an expedited beverage service once at cruising altitude. |
