attn: Catfish 44, elkeeper, etc.....Catholic HS skirts

Posted by LuchAAA on Fri May 8 02:42:39 2026

I'm working on a List of handles who attended Catholic school.

Anyway, I think Catholic school girl's uniforms are too provocative. I'm surprised parents let their young daughters dress like that in public.

Especially the high school girls.

It must be a distraction for the boys, if they go to co-ed Catholic schools.

My Catholic high school,Bishop Ford, didn't have a uniform, but it did have a dress code, so no skirt (unless some chick wanted to wear one). I will say, however, that there was this girl in my grade who never wore a bra, wore a white shirt that was see-through, so her perky little titties were always showing. Italian girl. I used to try to sit across from her on the B16 bus going home, when I wasn't taking the train.

It sounds like you went to a fake Catholic high school.

Italian girl

Look her up on Facebook.

when I wasn't taking the train.

Trains rule. Most kids across America took a stupid school bus. NYC kids took the subway or bus.

My Catholic High School had a dress code for the young ladies. Pleated skirts no higher than 1/2 inch above the kneecap. Today, what I see out there (Catholic and Public school) was never allowed "back in the day".

Interesting.

Were the nuns mean to you?

You went to school in Queens. Unfortunately no one on the main boards is threading about Queens politicians attempts to reopen the LIRR Elmhurst station.

I'm surprised I don't see the thread.

I wouldn’t let my daughter go to school dressed like that. She did one year in a Catholic HS before it abruptly closed after freshman year.
My high school instituted a uniform for my freshman year. We were all boys at that time so it was never an issue. Just the skirts on the B9.

"Were the nuns mean to you?"

Absolutely. I caught more beatings from those nuns at St Sebastian's school than I ever got on the street. If those nuns or even lay teachers as non nuns were called back then, did to the kids now what they did then, they'd be locked up. And after they whacked you around, they'd say now don't tell your parents or you'll be punished again worse for being bad.
Years later I told my mom about the "punishment" I got from the nuns (Sr Alma DeLourdes) and she said "If I would have known that, I would have gone down there and beat the hell out of that bead-rubbing dyke"
God bless motherhood!
But that was yesterday, and yesterday's gone... thankfully.

They seriously told you not to tell your parents? Damn.

Not surprising given what some priests got away with.

The way these public school girls dress, it looks like the are going to the beach.

Check out Grand Ave. some day when I.S 73 & Maspeth High School dismisses.

I had a bus pass as my father didn't want us taking the subway, but I took the train most of the time. Nobody looked at the passes when you went through the slam gate anyway. But just in case, I saw what color the current monthly train passes were and took an old bus pass of the same color and wrote R-1 or R-2 on it on case there was a cop by the gate. They really didn't look when you flashed it.

A uniform does not a real Catholic HIGH SCHOOL make. I agree with Grammar school. In fact, in Brooklyn, it was only the girls-only gugh schoold that had uniforms.

I forget her name and my yearbook is at my mother's house.
