Its just not on the schedule. It wasn't on the schedule last year either. The Yankees have never had one.If I had to guess, I would say that its a security issue. Mamdani probably advised the Mets that the city would not pay OT for NYPD officers to provide security for Jewish Heritage Night, so Steve Cohen decided to err on the side of caution and not hold the event. |

This is the first time that I've seen Mitch essentially accused of downplaying antisemitism.I'm near a synagogue that operates a daycare and it's so sad that they have armed security outside the building to protect preschoolers. And it's a sign of the times that most everyone believes it to be necessary because Jewish kids really could be victims of terrorism. Antisemitism is rampant among the far left and it's growing more mainstream imo. |
