Wait a minute.Suppose everything is peaceful from now on. Iran's vicious autocratic regime remains in place. Iran still has its enriched uranium. Iran can still block the Strait of Hormuz at a later date. Oil prices go back down to pre-war levels. So basically nothing happened except: - A lot of evil people dead, replaced by other evil people. - The United States President has gone on record that he will destroy an entire civilization just to keep the oil moving. - More distrust within NATO. - A lot of economic activity destroyed, making the entire world a little bit poorer. So how does this make Trump look very good? |

I believe that the Iranians will not have or ever have weapons grade uranium or means to deliver a nuclear weapon for the foreseeable future. This is all thanks to that war, which was our main objective in the first place. It doesn't matter who's in charge over there. No nuclear weapons and no more taking pot shots at Israel or else.With the straits of Hormuz reopened, oil prices are in freefall, stock market going thru the roof, gasoline expected to be a $1 cheaper a gallon my the Fourth of July, all happening on Trump's watch. This is why I say that Trump will come out of this smelling like a rose. BTW, for the duration of this war, more people were killed in Chicago than Americans in the Mid East. |
