Capital Punishment 2026 Chapter 2

Since our last update, there have been just 2 more executions in the United States.

On February 24th Melvin Trotter was executed by the state of Florida!
On March 3rd, Billy Leon Kearse was executed, also by Florida!

Still to come in March
Cedric Ricks in Texas on March 11th Tick tick tick
Charles Lee Burton in Alabama on March 12th.
Michael King in Florida on March 17th
James Duckett in Florida on March 31st

The March 12 execution of James Trimble has been postponed until 3/14/29 in Ohio.
The March 24th execution of Harvey Robinson in Pennsylvania has been cancelled via reprieve by governor Shapiro

Just one execution is scheduled for April as of this report.
Christa Pike is still scheduled to die on Sept. 30.

None that I'm aware of but it seems that chemicals used in lethal injection might negate viability.

All of these people have normal names. THey don't match the mass shooters I read about.
Is it generational or reverse racism?

Agreed, but the noose could avoid chemical pollutants!

Bring on the Madam...Madam Guillotine that is. If I was on death row I'd request a "date with the Madam" as they said in France. Quick and painless. Makes the basket every time for a sure two points!
