I posted about food freedom and real estate over the years and the victory of Mamdani is proof that I see the direction we're moving in, even though I'm attacked by the following handles.

Morgan is definitely the Hipster Central now.

And they opened a new Whole Foods at Grand St on the L.

Meanwhile, Whole Foods is opening "express" locations like this one around the country, but still nothing concrete in Queens. These locations are meant to compete with stores like Trader Joe's.

I went there for the first time again about 12 years ago.

Why? I heard about a food truck selling "Hulk Hogan Fudgie Wudgies".

Turned out to be a vegan food truck outside a hipster bar.

Roberta's Pizza was nearby and gained a ton of fame over that time period but has cooled off.

It's a weird neighborhood. You'll see a few blocks of industrial property then 8 family tenements.

Also, I like the old Bushwick LIRR tracks cutting through the neighborhood, and how they now have fencing so people can't walk the tracks.

Peter Luger's is also right where the LIRR Bushwick Branch ended once-upon-a-time.

There's a Whole Foods scheduled to open in Ridgewood near Myrtle Ave, Cypress Ave and Cornelia St in the old Hanover Bank, that more recently housed a Rite Aid.
