I just heard this today on a conference call attended by maybe 20 people, concerning accounting results for the fiscal year of a Fortune 500 company, which ends on September 30th.

Company controller: "Let's hope our President doesn't do anything crazy in the next few weeks."

That is, in the controller's opinion, the biggest remaining financial risk to fiscal year results for the year that has almost ended is that our President might do something crazy.

The CFO (the controller's boss) was also on the call, as were various other people on his staff. And this company is headquartered in the South. There is no reason to believe it is run by flaming liberals.

These are not normal times.

Since this is 100% anecdotal, to give the benefit of the doubt I will merely presume that this "business executive" is yet another leftist that has infiltrated US big business, as the left has planned for well over a century.

Well, maybe, but the controller had no compunction about saying it with the boss, the CFO, on the call too.

And while I am not permitted to say which company it was, it isn't a company that is associated with wokeness in any way whatsoever.

Of course, you are free to believe that I am making this all up.
