I don't think so. I think Trump is the greatest president in my daughter's lifetime, but that is because she is only 6 months old, so he gets the title by default. My guess and strong hope is that changes as soon as he leaves office. But Trump is without question one of the worst presidents in US history and the consequences of electing him even just once are going to be negative and felt by future generations. |

But it is the speaker of the house who commands the US Capitol Police. It was pelosi who did not call for additional coverage by the capitol police in advance of the the protest and she further rejected the President's offer of deploying the national guard before the protest, saying the Capitol Police could handle the expected protest. Once again, pelosi was wrong or perhaps she wanted the protest to fet out of control for political reasons. |
