I'm not certain if its your dishonesty or your lack of understanding that is fueling your ignorance but i'll give you the benefit of the doubt here.YES, The president has final authority to use the national guard. But it is the speaker of the house who commands the US Capitol Police. It was pelosi who did not call for additional coverage by the capitol police in advance of the the protest and she further rejected the President's offer of deploying the national guard before the protest, saying the Capitol Police could handle the expected protest. Once again, pelosi was wrong or perhaps she wanted the protest to fet out of control for political reasons. |
