(Write a review.) Editorial Reviews Book Description Get to know Hillary Clinton like never before with this often shocking, always hilarious collection of the former-First Lady and aspiring-President’s own quotes! From claiming to be named after a famed mountaineer (Sir Edmund Hillary actually scaled Mt. Everest years after she was born), to bragging about being a lifelong Yankees fan (although she grew up in Chicago rooting for the Cubs), Hillary shows that there’s no tall tale that she won’t tell. Whether it’s yelling at her Secret Service guards, grumbling about photo ops with young children, or arguing that taxpayers should buy her a pool, Hillary is never short on ambition -- and sometimes salty enough to make a sailor blush! Pick up a copy of I’ve Always Been a Yankees Fan and bask in the wit and humor (even if it’s usually unintentional) of the World’s Smartest Woman. From the Publisher "What I would like in an ideal world, is for people to get to know Hillary." -- Lisa Caputo, Hillary Clinton’s former press secretary Mission accomplished! From World Ahead Publishing -- the company that brought you Help! Mom! There Are Liberals Under My Bed! -- comes this indispensable addition to the Hillary oeuvre. As Dick Morris writes in the foreword: "This wonderful little book will give you all the ammunition you need to hold up your end of the argument and make sure that Hillary's quotes and lies are not forgotten but come back to haunt her." Using extensive, attributed sources, editor Tom Kuiper has assembled the biggest collection of Hillary quotes ever, putting them into witty, sometimes illustrated and always hilarious context. Hillary on Living in Arkansas: "I had never before lived in a place so small, so friendly and Southern, and I loved it. I went to Arkansas Razorback football games and learned to call the hogs." "This is the kind of s*** I have to put up with." (To a friend after a Clinton supporter gave her a pair of Arkansas Razorback earrings.) Hillary on the Secret Service: "[We] have nothing but praise for their courage, integrity and professionalism, and we feel lucky to remain friends with the many agents who protected us." "If you want to remain on this detail, get your a** over here and grab those bags." (To an agent who wanted to keep his hands free in case of a security threat.) Hillary on Money: "Too many people have made too much money." (Describing the greedy people in the health care industry.) "I’m pleased that the Senate Ethics Committee has found that my agreement with Simon & Schuster fully complies with Senate Ethics rules." (Discussing her $8 million book deal.) From health care to Oval Office hijinks, from Watergate to Whitewater, we’ve got Hillary dead to rights in a book that humorously but pitilessly underscores her hypocrisy, flip-flops and endless pandering -- and one that could have a major impact on her Presidential aspirations." |

"World Ahead Publishing is the West Coast's premier publisher of conservative and libertarian books."Consider the source. Of course "conservative and libertarian books" is an oxymoron, isn't it? |

Ignoring Train Dude's "rainman" response ... INTERESTING point ... I was a member of the "LaRouche" party (libertarians made that disappear faster than you can say "Dianetics", heh) I *WENT* for Libertarian because instead of the usual political "cross-sectioning" it allowed for FISCAL conservatism without NAZIism as far as social angles went ... and was focused on the ORIGINAL "sales rap" of America being ALL about FREEDOM to do WHATEVER you wanted SO LONG AS you did no harm to OTHERS. PERFECT "upstate politics" ... don't spend money you don't HAVE and unless I'm a threat to my neighbors, LEAVE ME THE PHUCK ALONE. I don't NEED yer damned "services" I can take care of MYSELF. And yet, I realize (owning 1 3/4 mile highway that I own and must take care of) that there ARE some things the people CANNOT do for themselves (Hillary post) and that government MUST be there to do in order to FAIRLY share those expenses (defense and stopping large bullies like Halliburton and MOB-ON Oil and such from PHUCKING us all) ... LaRouch (uh, libertarian) made EMINENT sense to me away from socialist NYC ...But LIBERTARIAN is nothing more than the usual scam ... KATO Institute ... there's no balance there ... LIBERTARIAN was nothing more than yet another wrong-wing "surrender monkey" to GHOULIANI, CHENEY and the usual suspects. :( |

Actually, no matter the outcome of the 2004 election, I expected a president to lead the country called the United States of America, not a country in a time zone twelve hours away from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Bush is ignoring the domestic issues at hand, such as protecting our country from the next terrorist attack. Then again, like his predecessor, Bush ignored the numerous terror threats on domestic soil, causing 2,800 plus dead bodies in a single Tuesday morning. |
