Posted by cortelyounext on Mon Jun 9 13:10:44 2025 My research has come up empty but has the Honorable Messenger Greta Thunberg ever spoken of the taking and subsequent physical and psychological torture of hostages by the Hamas terrorists or their indiscriminate slaughter of innocent Israelis? If so, was she sincere or simply paying lip service in order to bolster her claims to legitimacy?

It has increased gradually over the decades among the left. The rise of Bernie Sanders empowered the left in the United States, and gave them license to spread their Soviet-inspired ideologies.

I'd argue that anti-Israel attitudes on the left have become more acceptable on account of the right's Israel-Palestine policy during the George W. Bush administration (i.e. a blank check for Israel) and then making mountains out of molehills, such as suggesting that Obama was a closeted Muslim on account of his middle name and therefore predisposed to being anti-Israel. This was further exacerbated by Bibi openly campaigning for Mitt Romney. Going further back, last time I checked, Harry Truman was a Democrat and he recognized the State of Israel minutes after its establishment. Meanwhile, there's plenty of actions by Republican administrations that would hardly be categorized as pro-Israel by contemporary "conservatives." There are plenty of examples from the first Bush administration, Reagan administration and Eisenhower administration. You should try taking off your partisan blinders on occasion.
