Gaetz cuts deal with Dems, to get rid of McCarthy?
Posted by Edwards! on Sat Sep 30 08:17:38 2023 It's gotten so bad now, that Matt Gaetz actually turned to some Representatives and Senate members, on the other side of the aisle, to remove the House Speaker. "He is not in compliance with the rules set forth when he was given the job, so he leaves us little choice". I believe Gaetz doesn't want the Speaker job, but he does have designs for a future governorship, and maybe a presidential run. McCarthy is a weakness the Maga republicans don't need..
