Give "stolen Valor Dick" a break. It was just a slip of the tongue when he claimed to have served in VietNam. What he meant to say was that he served in the marine reserves during the time of the Vietnam War. As everyone should know, enlisting in the marine reserves guaranteed that he would not be deployed to Vietnam. |
