Today's Session Cancelled
Posted by Fisk Ave Jim on Thu Mar 23 10:18:19 2023 The Grand Jury overseeing the Trump case has been cancelled today and for the rest of the week. The plan is to revisit the case sometime next week. Bragg continues to make a mockery of the Manhattan DA's office.

But please explain what he is doing inappropriately with respect to Trump. If he can prove that Trump concealed 130K of taxable income, do you really think that Trump should have some kind of special privilege that would get him off? Therefore stealing money from the people of the State of New York.

He has to realize that this case is a dog. It is such a weak case that he has painted himself into a corner with. Whoever came across this case wouldn't touch it, especially C. Vance, a known Trump hater. He (Bragg) has to know that if there is any chance of conviction that it would be overturned based on the statue of limitations. He also has to realize that has a big Michael Cohen problem. Besides, he was making a mockery of the Manhattan DA.s office long before he bit off more than he can chew with this case.

We also don’t know what other crimes the GJ is investigating. We only know that they asked questions about the payout to Stormy Daniels but that doesn’t mean it’s the only thing they’re going after. Vance did, in fact, have investigations ongoing against Trump. His term ended.

You can’t go by what Trump says. I think it would be really funny that this case gets all the publicity, and in the meantime, either the Georgia case or with a special prosecutor has really sinks Trump.

It might happen to be fact in this case, but you have no way of knowing that. I'm not in favor of ignoring concealment of 130K in taxable income. Yes, they do have a time limit but this jury could be a 2-month jury.
