There are plenty of risks in my life, and I try to be aware of all of them and minimize them.I realize the biggest personal danger to me is some driver failing to yield when he makes a turn in his car while I'm crossing with a green light, and I try to act accordingly. None of that makes it OK for people who are paid to protect me to then threaten my family, even if it's a considerably lesser threat than a reckless driver poses. |
