But then Wyoming is out west and they are drastic.She did cause a disturbance and somehow led to a lockdown which would have led to her arrest but I do get the feeling there was more to it than what was reported in the article. Were her civil rights violated? That is for the court to decide. |

Laramie County Wyoming has 25 ICU beds in its hospitals. 22 are currently occupied (14 with Covid patients and 8 with non-Covid patients). That leaves only 3 ICU beds left.Should an automobile collision, tornado, gas explosion, etc. with many seriously injured occur, their hospital facilities would not be able to handle it. The students actions might easily occupy their remaining 3 beds. |
