Traveling on I-81 outside of Dunmore Pa., theres a huge billboard next to the highway for "Trump 2024" Would have taken a pic of it but its tough to manipulate a camera/phone at 70 MPH. Somebody spent some serious $$$ for that. Big billboard ads along major highways don't come cheap.Seeing that tells me that he will run in 2024, no doubt. |

Even disregarding his behavior toward women, he wouldn't have been a good candidate. Had the allegations been raised during an election against a Republican, Cuomo would have been mostly supported. Maybe true, maybe not, but mostly irrelevant in any case. NY is like CA. The general election is relatively unimportant. It's the primary election that mostly counts. The only time frame where the Republican matters at all is from June to November of election years. If the allegation had come out and been instantly proved on 7/1/2022, you might be right that Cuomo could still have been supported by many Democrats against Andrew Giuliani. But against Lee Zeldin,who is incredibly more likely to be the candidate, he might have lost. I'm also guessing in that case a Democrat would run as an independent and have had a very good chance of winning. |
