I began listening to him in mid-1998, the classic rock station here in Miami/Fort Lauderdale (WBGG/Big 105.9) carried his show. Once I got cable, there was also the shows on E! They dropped him in early 2004?, but by then he was about to leave for Sirius/XM. I've had SXM since late 2012, but never listened to him on there.

Google search Ivermectin prior to 2019 and there are tons of glowing articles in reputable newspapers and scientific journals about its many uses in humans and how it's approved for those uses. Google Ivermectin without a date range and suddenly it's only a livestock dewormer. In the end though, it's use is for parasitic infections and I doubt that it does anything to treat covid. That said, why all of the misinformation that it's not even designed for human use? Politics.

I suspect that’s just more hysteria and anecdotal. No one (hardly no one anyway) is dying from ivermectin or overdosing despite what you read and hear. People are calling poison control but that’s not the same as overdosing. To me this is about trust and I trust the government organizations to give accurate information about dangerous foods and drugs. In this instance they are being very misleading if not outright lying.

I used to leave my radio on in my room with a running tape recorder next to the speaker with a 120 minute tape so I would at least hear some of the show when I was in school or at work (this was early '90s). Everyone has an opinion as to when Howard started to change. I think the change began in 1995, when his book "Private Parts" was optioned for a movie. It was then that he started name dropping Ivan Reitman, Betty Thomas and others in Hollywood. Once he drank from that bottle of potion, he never stopped. By the time he was on America's Got Talent in the early 2010's, and he started hanging out with Howie Mandel, Mel B and Heidi Klum, the mask fell away like Jeff Goldblum's face at the end of The Fly. Everyone knows that he's a sellout. I think his show has been borderline unlistenable for at least 10 years.

Before that, I loved him! I went to the Fuck the FCC rally in 1987, I went to U.S. Open Sores, watched his Channel 9 show, saw the movies, the whole 9 yards. But his whining turned me off.

A caller once complained that he spent thousands of dollars on Howard’s books, movies and other things and didn’t appreciate Howard now kissing the left’s ass and that he was “out of his mind back then”. Howard told the guy point blank that ss far as he was concerned, the listener could take his books, his PPV specials on videotape and everything else from that era and burn them. He couldn’t care less that the people who gave him ratings and made him rich think he’s a sellout to Hollywood. I stopped listening to Howard a long time ago. .
