Posted by Train Dude on Fri Sep 3 17:30:21 2021 While Texas has enacted a law that protects the preborn once a heartbeat is detected - enraging the liberals, Virginia tried to enact a law that would allow a birthing person to have her just born child exterminated and liberals cheered. |

The proposed Virginia partial-birth abortion bill would have only allowed such a thing if the fetus was nonviable (unable to survive outside the womb) or so severely deformed that medical intervention would be futile. |

The federal Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003 explicitly prohibits this procedure. It was signed into law by President George W. Bush. There are birth defects that are detected late in a pregnancy that would deem The fetus unviable as a born child. Sometimes the brain doesn’t develop properly as one example. Stuff like this is extremely rare and it’s a fraction of 1% of the time that a pregnancy is terminated late in the for medical reasons either because of the fetus or because of the health of the mother. Anyway it’s not like Nazi experiments or anything like that. |
