So you're saying that's plenty of time to destroy more evidence of fraud?

There is no "evidence of fraud" to destroy.

The Republican-sponsored court case Alito accepted does not assert fraud.

I'm surprised Alito allowed this challenge to continue beyond Dec. 8th, which is the legal deadline for states to certify their choice of electors. That seems contrary to what was done in 2000 with Bush v. Gore. But then again, it was specifically stated then that that case was not intended to set any precedent.

California has now certified their 55 Democratic electors, bringing Biden's certified total to 288, with New Jersey (14) and Hawaii (4) not yet certified. Trump has 222 certified electors, with 10 more (from Missouri) yet to be certified. All results and selections of electors are supposed to be certified by next Tuesday, the 8th, with the electors voting the following Monday, the 14th. Once all the other states have certified their results, Biden will win the electoral vote even without Pennsylvania's 20 electors (and even if their are a handful of "faithless electors").

Precisely.

In Bush v.Gore, there was a genuine dispute as to who had the most valid votes in FL. In the law suit at issue here, the Republicans are not claiming that Trump received more valid votes than Biden.

The Supreme Court is probably going to decide more precisely what kinds of voting procedures can be changed by executive order and what require legislation. But they're not going to apply it retroactively to people who voted in good faith in PA under rules that were valid at the time.

The Guiliani Clown Show continues since the real reason behind it is "legal defense fund" for Trump, now at $207 million.

Alito needs to retire.

Alito is only the messenger here. Five or more justices decided they wanted to hear the case. But not to potentially overturn the PA results; just to consider whether PA's method for changing voting rules is OK going forward.

Make that 4 or more justices.

While I agree that you are technically correct, how often do you think 4 justices insist on hearing a case when the other 5 make it clear they don't think the case is worth their time?

Because the election is over, Guiliani has lost many cases in various Pennsylvanian courtrooms with zero evidence, there is no justification to bring this to the US Supreme Court, and to belabor this further only serves to entertain a lunatic fringe of the Republicans.
