Terrible, especially the antisemitic attacks.To be clear, not all of the looting/vandalism in that article was antisemitic. For example I doubt that most know that the jewelry store owners downtown are predominantly Persian Jews. I knew that they were, but didn't know that they were observant. I realize that I didn't know because I'm an idiot as the evidence was pretty clear. |

There are tons of non-jewish Persians in LA. This is where that tv show "Shahs of Sunset" was located. They do the same as everyone else. I don't know that they concentrate in any one business. Real estate, law, shopkeepers, engineers, laborers,...I dunno. |

To me it appears that a very small number of Persians in LA are Jewish. They just happen to have a very high concentration in the jewelry district. There may be more Christian Persians in LA than Jewish.I didn’t realize how many Persians there were in LA until I lived here for a couple decades. Then I found out a bunch of people that I thought were Eastern European or Arab or just white were actually Persian. |
