Yes, I know everything In saying is anecdotal before you say anything. Trump had rallies that were attended by thousands wherever he went. North, south, east, west. Not just where "his base" lived. Even undecided areas as well. Biden had a smattering of people standing here and there at his rallies, it got to the point that the press wouldn't pan the audience, because it was empty. Biden and the Democrats had nothing to campaign on, except Orange Man Bad, he's not Trump. All my circle of people I know, from all persuasions, political views, income levels, were either voting for Trump, as much as they didn't like him as a person, or Jorgensen the Independent. Only 2 people I know said they were voting for Biden. Now, when the Dems insisted on mail-in ballots for the election, months before, I stated on this very board that there would be shenanigans, as fuckery is easy to do, despite claims that it's not. Then, Biden wins! |

Posted by Spider-Pig on Mon Aug 29 12:29:48 2022, in response to Re: I Am Not Panicking, posted by BILLBKLYN on Mon Aug 29 12:01:38 2022. You already acknowledge that your experience is anecdotal, so I won’t talk about that point.Rallies are not at all representative of voting, it’s not like you need to attend a rally to get a card to vote. All it means is that Trump voters are more likely to want to attend his rallies. I voted for Biden and you couldn’t pay me to go to a Biden rally (or any candidate’s rally). Most people are the same. As an added point, they did pretty much only do rallies where he’s popular. They did one in New Jersey a while back, but it was in a more conservative part of the state, and it was newsworthy that he did one there. An interesting thing about anecdotes is that my father expressed the same idea to me that you did, that almost everyone he knows said they supported Trump so he thought that he would win. Regarding mail in voting, they didn’t change the rules in any key states. That is Pennsylvania used the same rules it implemented pre-COVID.* Just because more people decided to vote by mail doesn’t mean anything. Same thing with the other states that voted for Trump in 2016 and Biden in 2020 (and also Nevada). The states that did change their rules like New Jersey are irrelevant. So given mail in voting, what kind of shenanigans do you think went on? Did they submit ballots for people who didn’t otherwise vote? There’s no evidence of that. “Orange Man Bad” is a sufficient reason. If you remember a lot of my arguments in 2016 against Trump it was pretty much the same thing. In 2016 a lot of people stayed home because they didn’t like either and the conventional wisdom was that Trump would lose anyway. They didn’t make the same mistake again. While not proving anything either way, Trump actually underperformed members of Congress. People actually voted otherwise straight Republican while voting for Biden. If they were doing voter fraud, that wouldn’t have happened. It shows how much people just dislike him. It also shows that this wasn’t a Democratic landslide and more of an “anyone but Trump” election. Also note that on election night, Purdue won more votes than Ossoff, and there were more votes for Loeffler and the other Republican than for Warnock and the other Democrat. *Pennsylvania did change one thing, which was allow ballots to be received later, but the Supreme Court forced them to segregate the ballots accordingly so we know that this had no effect. |

After I moved to Tennessee, I received from Illinois in the mail 6 ballots for the 2020 election. And no. I did not mail any back, but I am sure that there were thousands that voted multiple times that way and got away with it. Now call me a liar. |

You’re ignoring the fact that all mail-in ballots require a signature and either the ballot itself or an outer envelope is assigned to the specific voter. If you had voted six times, it would only count once.Where do you get thousands from? Yours is a highly specific instance. And as I already pointed out, none of the relevant states mailed ballots to people who didn’t apply for them. Finally, Illinois is irrelevant, Biden would have won it anyway. |

The shenanigans I think that happened was that people who otherwise never would have gone to the polls to vote out of laziness or disinterest made Killary lose in 2016. The Dems hatched this plan where everyone mail-in votes, so the Millenials could just hand their ballots to their friends, who will fill it out for them and mail it. Mail can get lost. Mail can get "found". There's no limit to what organized crime can do |
