The Democrats delayed and got the small businesses desperate. Pelosi didnt listen to trump and give those 600/week checks directly to the people. Both failed for no temporarily 2-3 month UBI. There's no contact tracing. Some of these governors, well all of them failed high school science. And then some. Six meat plants closed. Car plants closed. You have to sign a waiver at the hair cut joint. And these governors can't mandate the Macy's and the AMC to open. And no one officially grounded the domestic flights and hotels. No, it failed from the start. I don't know if I can blame the "protestors" in this festival of folly. Even the big mega Democratically run multinationals ignored Trumps social distancing guidelines in March. |

My favorite, and you can put any state or board you want in there:The Georgia cosmetology board issued guidelines for reopening spas and salons, suggesting the use of masks for clients and workers, temperature checks with infrared thermometers, screening questions (“Have you had a cough? Have you had a fever?”), and by-appointment-only rules. But the guidelines were not being followed in many reopened salons visited on Friday. |

I've had angina once in my life - while doing uphill lawn mowing and wearing a mask to keep the allergens out of my nose.Yes, I want your germs staying near your nose and mouth and not coming near mine. Scientific evidence does support healthy people wearing masks. Next time you have an operation, you want the surgeon not wearing a mask? You can say anything you want while you're wearing a mask. |

I'm not not talking about when they were protecting medical workers, I'm saying that just two months ago we were being told that it wasn't necessary to wear masks to prevent the spread of disease. It used to be only asians wore masks and our experts said that was ineffective. |

So I was curious and read what they said. They never said don't wear masks because they don't work. They said don't wear masks because a) doctors need masks and there isn't enough to go around. b) they said you're too stupid to know how to wear it, and we don't have enough to waste. This is the 55th time I'm posting this. They never did say masks don't work. |

Nature medicineRespiratory virus shedding in exhaled breath and efficacy of face masks N=246 111 were infected by human (seasonal) coronavirus, influenza virus, rhinovirus 3 co-infected We tested viral shedding in nasal swabs, throat swabs, respiratory droplet samples and aerosol samples compared viruses in respiratory droplet samples and aerosol samples between with or without a face mask Viral RNA was identified from respiratory droplets and aerosols for all three viruses We detected coronavirus in respiratory droplets and aerosols in 4 of 10 of the samples collected without face masks but did not detect any virus in respiratory droplets or aerosols collected from participants wearing face masks ==== We';ve now gotten 5 scientific reasons for wearing masks in this thread. Even if you're dead they put a mask on you fyi. Masks should be mandatory every winter no matter what. I could stop getting colds and flus. |
