It is also the scummy democrats that put the government into the business of financing of useless college educationsThe Greatest Generation went to college (or vocational schools) because the government paid them to go as part of the WWII GI Bill. The government paid for both their tuition and living costs. That money was well spent. It enabled that generation earn far more than their parents. They earned so much more that their taxes paid for the program. |

As for taxes, since taxes are on profit, not on aggregate revenue, it means that investments are effectively subsidized. IOW, you literally save money on taxes by investing money in your business instead of taking profit.Trickle up works. Trickle down doesn’t. |

There are substance abusers in the miltary. Military binge drinker abuse incidence is higher than the civilian population. The detrimental effects of substance abuse are independent of the substance's legality. I don't know whether your objection is to the course of study (mass communications) or the university (ASU). I could understand the university objection were it for a for-profit institution like the University of Phoenix. For-profit schools have been cited for ripping off the students with exaggerated claims and exorbitant student loans. A disproportionate share of their victims have been GI's. |
