It was a bad error (I'm sure one of the pool services could have sent over actual battlefield footage), but the story itself has been verified and reported by everybody else, with the correct video. |

The thing about this is that the right wing seems to ascribe to malice what is more likely explained by stupidity. The people who put this on sincerely thought that it was footage of Syria because someone told them/it was labelled so on the computer. The question is who mislabeled it and why. Even if it was done purposefully by someone, right wingers seem to think that the whole thing is some "orange man bad" plot instead of more important people being duped. |
