Then there are the people who work on major holidays like Christmas and Independence Day, like hospital workers, first responders, and transit workers in important cities. |

Voters may not know early enough whether or not they will be working on Election Day to obtain absentee ballots, and regulations on absentee ballots may foreclose that person from obtaining. I believe that there should be no restrictions on obtaining an absentee ballot and voting that way other than proof that the person is an eligible voter. |
