It won’t happen.Basically some politicians treat “make Election Day a holiday” as some sort of panacea, but ignore the fact that private employers don’t give every holiday off and a new holiday will not be treated any differently. Then there are the people who work on major holidays like Christmas and Independence Day, like hospital workers, first responders, and transit workers in important cities. |
