It's rather narrow. It's possible that Trump was guilty of transgressions that were not investigated. Two examples have to do with tax evasion and charity fraud, which has been referred to local prosecutors. I would not expect to find such allegations in the report because they are not within the investigation's scope. I'd assume that I'd accept such a report within the framework of its guidelines. However, I reserve the right to read it before passing judgment. |

It's not OK to order your AG to violate Justice Department conflict of interest guidelines just because you make it public that you've done so. I don't think Mueller will let that go unmentioned. And then there's the Southern District investigation. I would hesitate to make a prediction as to whether they will find concrete evidence of money laundering. |
