Lulz. That's not going to happen. It would create a econmic disater for the city. Nobody wants to buy into a market where tax rates are so arbitrary. It goes against common sense.

As to your picture, WTF? What are you trying to get at? Looks have nothing to do with politics. Intelligence does. Smarter people know hat their rights ar, and do not support those seeking to eradicate them. The only conclusion is that the young woman pictured didn't have the xperince to make good political decisions, and hopefully have aged ino them. That is one awfully old photo.

yes, there is a relationship between a woman's looks and her politics.

A woman's whose pussy is good for a $uccessful man is not political.

But you have a generation of women who raise cats, are divorced and incapable of maintaining a relationship with a quality man and resent it.

These women tend to like the Democrats.

Those requirements show the Marxist nature of Medicaid at its beginnings. Pregnancy as a requirement is exemplary of Marxian “abolition of the family”. No government involvement in such matters should have ever ensued; private charity used to take care of that, and far more effectively.

There is no evidence for evolution. Extinctions are extinctions. The theory itself is derived from old pagan beliefs, and Darwin intended it as an attack on belief in God. Unless it came from scripture, it has to be rejected as heresy—especially with the pagan connection.

Sorry, but you're incorrect. Judaism accepts all experimentally proven facts and observations of the theory of evolution. Those theories in evolution which have not been scientifically proven are not accepted by Judaism.

The struggle between faith and evolution as espoused by Darwin was an issue with the Catholic Church, not Judaism. That's why in the 1940's, scientists modernized Darwin’s theory. They proposed fundamental changes and developed the modern theory of evolution, currently known as the neo-Darwinian theory.

The Catholic Church mostly dodged the issue until 1950, neither endorsing evolution nor saying it was wrong. It was mostly American Protestants who opposed evolution on religious grounds. William Jennings Bryan was not a Catholic.

Judaism accepts all experimentally proven facts and observations of the theory of evolution

Since there are none, then Judaism ought not accept the theory. It is a bunch of conjecture formulated by pagans and there is no science behind it.

The struggle between faith and evolution as espoused by Darwin was an issue with the Catholic Church, not Judaism

Darwin did not say he "came to gradually disbelieve in the Catholic Church"; he said he "came to gradually disbelieve in Christianity" actually; Darwin had nothing to do with the Catholic Church, so I don't even know where you got that from (he was raised Anglican). And since the entire Tanakh is part of Christian scripture, he also had "an issue" with Judaism, like all left-wing theoreticians do.

This particular quote of Darwin's is highly antisemitic:

I had gradually come, by this time, to see that the Old Testament from its manifestly false history of the world, with the Tower of Babel, rainbow as a sign, etc., etc., and from its attributing to God the feelings of a revengeful tyrant, was no more to be trusted than the sacred books of the Hindoos (sic), or the beliefs of any barbarian.
Redounds to the old "Jewish god is a tyrant" hatemongering.

Besides all that, Darwin was one of the first, if not the first, in his era to contend the belief that "evolution" is compatible with belief in God.

The thesis of the state socialist is that no line can be drawn between private and public affairs which the State may not cross at will; that omnipotence of legislation is the first postulate of all just political theory.

Applied in a democratic state, such doctrine sounds radical, but not revolutionary. It is only an acceptance of the extremest logical conclusions deducible from democratic principles long ago received as respectable. For it is very clear that in fundamental theory, socialism and democracy are almost, if not quite, one and the same. They both rest at bottom upon the absolute right of the community to determine its own destiny and that of its members. Men as communities are supreme over men as individuals. Limits of wisdom and convenience to the public control there may be: limits of principle there are, upon strict analysis, none.

Besides, that "pay gap" is a myth perpetrated by communists. Why else does the Red China constitution proclaim "equal pay for equal work" in its Article 48 (modeled after the USSR's constitution; Article 122 of the 1936 constitution and Article 35 of the 1977 constitution), a slogan Obama appropriated (and there was no shortage of Mao-lovers in his administration)?

There is no gender pay gap. Overdue you are at letting that fabrication die.

As for the communist constitution articles in question, read on. Red China constitution, article 48:
Women in the People's Republic of China enjoy equal rights with men in all spheres of life, in political, economic, cultural, social and family life.

The state protects the rights and interests of women, applies the principle of equal pay for equal work to men and women alike and trains and selects cadres from among women.
Obama parroted that very line in the linked speech and others.

Article 122 of the 1936 USSR constitution:
Women in the U.S.S.R. are accorded equal rights with men in all spheres of economic, state, cultural, social and political life. The possibility of exercising these rights is ensured to women by granting them an equal right with men to work, payment for work, rest and leisure, social insurance and education, and by state protection of the interests of mother and child, pre-maternity and maternity leave with full pay, and the provision of a wide network of maternity homes, nurseries and kindergartens.
Article 36 of the 1977 USSR constitution:
Women and men have equal rights in the USSR.

Exercise of these rights is ensured by according women equal access with men to education and vocational and professional training, equal opportunities in employment, remuneration, and promotion, and in social and political, and cultural activity, and by special labor and health protection measures for women; by providing conditions enabling mothers to work; by legal protection, and material and moral support for mothers and children, including paid leaves and other benefits for expectant mothers and mothers, and gradual reduction of working time for mothers with small children.
Ultimately anti-family and thus anti-society. Don't let your fingers get cancer by typing lies.

That's an excellent point, but on a more fundamental level where would the water to fill these locks sitting a mile up in a desert come from? The Panama Canal's Gatun Lake is barely able to keep the locks supplied in a far more hospitable environment.

You'd either have to divert a fair portion of the Colorado or Rio Grande's flow from around 500 miles to the north on aqueducts that would make California's system look puny (while leaving that state and its agriculture high and dry), or construct gigawatts of pumping capacity to lift seawater into mountains. But I suppose if you were installing that sort of generating capacity then desalination wouldn't be all that great an overhead expense.
