I've been objective I've been the first to say I don't think Obama was the best but overall good for this country considering where this country was when he started. I defend him because imo the hate for him compared to past presidents esp compared to the damage the one bf him done to this country is frankly unprecedented. I think it says a lot that you think I love him just bc I'm and he's black. Following that logic I would have voted for Ben Carson and not support a white Bernie Sanders.

Everything. He let made it legal for them to get married and weighed in on the trans bathroom situation. Do I think he's the perfect pres for black ppl no but he's had to balance the fact that he's president of the US not just black ppl in America. I think he's done things to increase opportunities for lower income people in the realm of education, housing etc that helped black people and latinos in proportion most. I do however think he should have definitely done more for Flint.

Exactly correct. Meanwhile black unemployment fell. Black teen high school graduation fell. Black home ownership fell. One of the few places where stats for blacks rose was the number of blacks on food stamps. By the way; How long does it take to get the sand out of your hair?

1. Unemployment rate for blacks since recession according to the bureau of labor statistics ends Dec 2016 7.8 compared to 9.1 at Jan of 2008 an improvement(went up to high of 16.9 and back down through recession). Chart on website https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000006

2. Black Homeownership rates down slightly as with every other group at 41. in 2016 which is sagging I'll give Obama a failing mark for that. That has as much to do with bank loan practices and of course recession which caused rates to dip across the board.

3. Graduation rates are at highs across the board blacks included. For blacks at 74.6% at high compared to 67% in 2010. I can imagine before 2010 rates weren't as high as 74.6% High still needs to improve but on a good trajectory.
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter/promise/260/improve-high-school-graduation-rates/
Black college graduation rates have also improved

True, but he's considered to be the first Black president. Case in point, from Bloomberg View today:

"Obama was America’s first black president, which is a huge thing and a fine thing. But when you’ve said that, you've probably said what matters most about his time in office."

He's half black half white and he identifies with his black side it happens. I'm sure the way society sees him has a lot to do with it. The truth is he looks like a brown skinned black man. Heck there's black ppl in my family that's lighter than Barack Obama so it's of no suprise many black ppl don't see as half black half white but just sees him as black. Truth is almost no one in this country is 'pure' 100% anything.

Economically things are a lot better than Obama found them.

Socially, the country is much more divided than it's ever been and Obama never really tried to unify divergent viewpoints.

Obama led to a rise in overt racism, sexism, and bigotry.

I agree, in the beginning he tried to be bi-partisan on Obamacare. He co-opted a reasonable Republican healthcare plan in the hopes of full support and it sailing through congress. Clearly he underestimated how petty party politics is, and didn't understand negotiating 101: start with the extreme and let the opposition "win" concessions and pass a whittled down version, which unbeknownst to them is what you really wanted in the first place. If he had done that I'm pretty sure we'd have gotten ACA + public option (Medicare for all) and it might not be falling apart right now.

That said, what we got has some glaring holes in it which are only going to get worse over time - when people who used to have affordable care are now finding themselves run through the ringer on premiums, clearly there's a problem.

Talking about Obama or Trump? With Trump don't think Putin respect's him as much as sees Trump as a puppet he can control. In China it's already contentious and will most likely get worse. To be fair relationship with those countries weren't great with Obama either in a we'll play nice but don't trust each other sort of way.
