How do you figure that? Some of those people are highly educated and experienced and know more than the common man. The right wing has a fetish for "salt of the Earth" types, which is just bullshit.

Yes, but Suburban areas often times are more conservative (there are many exceptions), and while they hold less people than Urban areas, have a lot more than rural areas. Suburbia has exponentially grown.

When the body cameras first statred coming out, I turned to a co-worker and stated that in a few years, there's going to be a complete reversal in the public's view of these cameras because it's going to show that in 99% of the time, the police are doing it properly and are telling the truth, and the criminals and "great unwashed" cannot make up the usual lies about being profiled, stopped for no reason, assaulted for no reason, etc... It's all being captured on camera! Looks like I was right.

The Electoral College and it's reason to exist is Politics 101. It's taught in entry level politics classes in college. It's just another safeguard and a form of checks and balances to ensure a fair and balanced election. Sometimes your guy wins, sometimes he doesn't. And yes, I am aware of the slavery aspect of it's beginnings, but it evolved into something else

I think the fact that the FBI very publically reopening a criminal investigation into Clinton's emails (already proven to be baseless) a wk bf elections and on top of it very publically admonishing her with a letter had a lot to do with Hillary losing also. Not you, but think of the third party voters and those who stayed home. If my vote actually mattered (as it would have in a non-electoral college world) instead of voting Johnson I'd have held my nose and voted Trump. Trump Foundation and Trump University were actual scams.

They totally were. But, that isn't going to sway the Republican base against Trump, which is why the media ignored them - waste of airtime. It would be like using "James Madison owns slaves!" to try and sway southerners to vote against him.

The only media that was hard on Clinton Foundation was Fox News (as expected) and Jill Stein's campaign, everyone else approached it with kid gloves.

I think a good middle step would be to do what Maine and that other state did, as in:
Two electors go with the state majority.
The rest go with the proportion of congressional districts.

Suddenly the whole country matters rather than a few key states.

I'm guessing he didn't notice the topic drift.

As a side note, everyone breaks the law. Those stupid enough to do it in front of a cop who is likely automatically recording it with a camera (whether it be body or dashboard) deserve what they get. I won't even jaywalk when a uniformed cop is around.
