An Unappreciated Point About This Election

Almost four year ago, Rasmussen said that Romney would be the Republican establishment's last candidate. He meant that in the context that people were getting sick of the establishments that groom candidates who come up through the ranks, wait their turn, and are rewarded with nominations for their loyalty.

He was certainly right this year on the GOP side.

There's also an anti-establishment revolt on the Democrat side (have you noticed) and that side is not folding quietly. Hillary is the ultimate establishment candidate.

Politicians love to talk about being "outsiders" but when it actually happens, the establishments have fits.

I think that there's a very good chance that were Hillary to win this year she may lose in 4 years to a more "progressive, anti-establishment" Democrat.

The real problem this year is that Sanders just wasn't the best candidate to pull it off.

There is no "side" to the Uniparty. Once the people grasp that, they will freak out in earnest.

He's still essentially a one-issue candidate that appeals to hearts more than minds. Hillary? Judge for yourself.

If you call having our tax dollars actually benefit us versus blowing up a bunch of cave dwellers halfway around the world totalitarianism, then yes.

"Tax dollars" do not "benefit us". That's called a scam, when you get progressively taxed to get a piece of it back after the demagogues at the top take their cut. I think you had better look closer at what Sanders actually had planned.

The only people who are "cave dwellers" are hashish addicts. And we've seen already what happens when you don't blow up the terrorists; even worse when you actually invite them in as "refugees".

You know there's a middle ground between blowing them up and inviting them in... has anyone tried simply leaving them alone? Maybe let them blow themselves up and have Trump build a wall around the Middle East!

We were leaving them alone. They brought the fight to us on 9/11, and several times before.
