Posted by SLRT on Tue Jul 26 10:33:54 2016 Almost four year ago, Rasmussen said that Romney would be the Republican establishment's last candidate. He meant that in the context that people were getting sick of the establishments that groom candidates who come up through the ranks, wait their turn, and are rewarded with nominations for their loyalty.He was certainly right this year on the GOP side. There's also an anti-establishment revolt on the Democrat side (have you noticed) and that side is not folding quietly. Hillary is the ultimate establishment candidate. Politicians love to talk about being "outsiders" but when it actually happens, the establishments have fits. |
