Here are some Trumpist views, right?

We become strongest, I feel, when we have no friends upon whom to lean, or to look for moral guidance.

State ownership! It leads only to absurd and monstrous conclusions; state ownership means state monopoly, concentrated in the hands of one party and its adherents, and that state brings only ruin and bankruptcy to all.

Socialism is a fraud, a comedy, a phantom, a blackmail.

Then there are Bernieviks like this one.

Victor Vizcarra, 48, of Los Angeles, said he would much prefer Mr. Trump to Mrs. Clinton. Though he said he disagreed with some of Mr. Trump’s policies, Mr. Vizcarra said he had watched “The Apprentice” and expected that a Trump presidency would be more exciting than a “boring” Clinton administration.

“A dark side of me wants to see what happens if Trump is in,” said Mr. Vizcarra, who works in information technology. “There is going to be some kind of change, and even if it’s like a Nazi-type change. People are so drama-filled. They want to see stuff like that happen. It’s like reality TV. You don’t want to just see everybody be happy with each other. You want to see someone fighting somebody.”

For sure.

Less dramatically (and I'll refrain from setting off the Godwin alarm here even though I know more about 1930s Europe from relatives and friends of relatives than I know about 1970s Argentina), living in Argentina from 1977 to 1983 as some kind of mild leftist was probably really interesting too.

*smh* It doesn't just "work itself out". It takes people working behind the scenes like the President, the Vice President, the Secy of State, etc., to reassure all the global players that the US is more stable than the lunatics who are trying to undermine it, like Cruz and the Tea Partiers. It just seems like it "works itself out" because that President you hate so much and his administration are actually doing their job.

Exactly. Someone has to do the working it out. Doesn't happen all magically by itself. BTW, we have not yet IIRC been re-established as AAA by S&P. So it shouldn't come as a surprise when things economic go totally sour following a potential trump "election". I doubt that rating will be reconsidered until we get rid of republican control of anything in government for over two years. That's what it might take to set things right again. I don't trust Congress to do anything right. Apparently the economists don't either.

Nor does, after too many years of republican shutdowns, other nations. This is why the rest of the world is looking to replace the Dollar as a "reserve currency" because they no longer trust the "backed by the “full faith and credit” of the U.S. Government" after all the republican shenanigans ever since the teabaggers emerged.

Once Trump gets going with his nonsense, and the yuan or "breadbasket of currencies" replaces it, then the dollar and our economy will become Argentina. And that's assuming that there isn't more substantial damage by this loose cannon that would go beyond that.
