It's dropped from 7.1% to 5.7%.

Yet it's better than the 4.2% it was on June 8 (the closest 538 gets to when the house of cards was originally allegedly falling on May 23).

Agreed.

The real risk (not big but not zero either) is more narrowing combined with the polls being wrong by a few percent. Hopefully the Democrats' better ground game is worth a point.

This is the most exciting election ever. That's not a good thing. I wish the election were actually dull. Politics should be boring.

2008 was the best.

Kenya. Reverend Wright. Hope and Change. Lolo Soetoro. Weather Underground. Sarah Palin.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Except for the possibility of McCain being elected and then dying and leaving Palin with her finger on the button, that wasn't such a consequential election. It seemed so at the time because nobody knew what a nightmare 2016 would be.

Palin would have quit her job before McCain died.

Trump would serve a year and quit if he wins.

Thanks for getting me all worked up.

I never said I was voting for Trump. I'm NOT voting for Clinton.
