If you started Firefox in Safe Mode, it will remain in Safe Mode until Firefox is completely closed. If Firefox craps the bed, it will start in safe mode too until whatever happened is resolved. The easiest way to make sure Firefox is completely closed is to restart your computer. Once your computer starts up again, start up Firefox.If it's still opening in safe mode after a reboot, let me know. |

No worries ... something that's been installed in Firefox is busticated and needs to get yanked out. Probably a bad plugin or extension. Go here and this page will walk you through checking it out without having to wave garlic or call a Jesuit:https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode Bottom line though, something's broken in there and it's most likely a plugin or extension. |

You should be able to back them up from bookmarks -> Show all bookmarks -> import & backup -> backup.Save the file somewhere like your desktop and if you need to, you can suck it back in to your replacement copy if they're not already there. |
