I only plow my driveway for the benefit of visitors to my home (both vehicular and pedestrian) as well as for keeping the floor clean of snow when exiting my personal vehicle and coming into the house. I do not do it for any other reason, as my car can easily drive through 12+ inches of snow. |

I *love* watching that go down the tubes. Given how far south our "correspondent" was, I was pretty much expecting a base of slush below it all until it got cold. No point in trying to bite that. I learned quickly many years ago that sometimes, a plow and "ramming speed" is the only way to clear that. A good solid suspension also helps.We had a half mile of driveway. A blower just doesn't cut it for that. Sometimes a payloader doesn't. (grin) |
