There was no intimation Garner was armed. He did not attack a cop.If you're saying there already 6 cops there, yeah, and only one of them, Pantaleo, decided to use a chokehold. What he COULD have done, if it was prudent, was to call for backup when Brown FIRST told him "fuck you!" after he told them to get out of the street and wait for them to come. But that's before any contact was made. After Brown tussled with Wilson and tried to take his gun, there is NO way that Wilson can just let Brown saunter off after that, backup coming or not...I'm not saying this as a personal insult but saying that Wilson should let a guy who just punched him and tried to take his gun and got SHOT just get away and pick him up later in a hosptial is beyond niave!!! |
