Same could be asked about texas. There, and other lax regulatory states in the south built with the worst of it. Probably never required remediation. States with low interest in the well being of their citizens get like that, it's cheaper and plays into their "business friendly" bullshit.As far as I was concerned, when the problem stuff left NY it was over. |

You haven't answer the question: Why did NY permit Chinese drywall to be used, if the state is so well regulated?There were actually relatively few cases in Texas with most of those being in South Texas. The Consumer Product Safety Commission indicated that Florida was the leading state in federal drywall complaints, with over 1,600 complaints. Louisiana and Mississippi were second and third respectively. Many homes were remediated after class action settlements were reached in 2010 and 2011. |
