Being a suburbanite, I never made the grand tour of the area. Walked through there once maybe when I was about 14, but never checked any of those places out.When I lived in Boston, there was the several square blocks designated for adult 'entertainment' called "the combat zone" I checked some of those places out. Saw the outside of the peep show places but never went in (no, really). |

I was born and raised VERY conservative Catholic. But I've always been unshaken in my faith (especially HERE) and just HAD to check it out. I'm one of those real pains in the butt that takes no one's word for anything, I gotta touch it and smell it for my own calibration. LOL |

Grew up in the Bronx, saw WAY too many sidewalk acts to take anything seriously until I check it out. Working for over 15 years now in the worst toilets of the intertubes also makes me a raving cynic. I'd probably make a decent militia member if I hadn't encountered those as well. Sculley and Muldaur put it perfectly just like the NSA has ... "trust no one" but keep your friends close, and your enemies even closer. :)I'm neither a white hat nor a black hat, I'm a BLUE hat. Those who have met me know the inside joke. (grin) But seriously, there's just SO much bullshit flying, I don't take anything at its word until I've personally checked it out. Just the way I am. |
