There were a lot of votes that weren't counted, there was evidence of quite a few Gore votes tossed on the side of the road on the way to the recounts. But bottom line, at the end of the "journey" Bush got 537 more than Gore. Had Nader not run, there's no way they could have tossed enough votes to prevent Gore from Winning Florida. I was still doing journo at the time. |
